Theme: The wines of the Amalfi Coast/Campania
The Amalfi Coast is known for its remarkable scenery, beaches, weather and hospitality but it’s also home of some compelling wine makers. Tonight, Nicola will introduce you to arguably the best winery on the Amalfi Coast and one of Campania’s most important and historic wine makers. These wines are unique to The Italian Vine, and we cherish our relationship with the wineries in this distinctive wine region. The wines will be paired with special creations from the team at Florio’s. The last wine dinner at Florio’s was special.

🥗 Grilled Blood Oranges, Roasted Beets & Burrata
Grilled blood oranges and oven-roasted beets served with fresh burrata, olive oil, flaky sea salt, and balsamic glaze.
Wine Pairing: Salvatore Martusciello Falanghina – Bright and citrus-driven with vibrant acidity and mineral freshness that mirrors the caramelized citrus while the burrata softens the finish.
🍕 Margherita Flatbread
Thin, crisp flatbread topped with tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, and olive oil.
Wine Pairing: Salvatore Martusciello Piedirosso – Light-bodied and fresh with red fruit and soft tannins, pairing naturally with tomato and mozzarella.
🍗 Chicken Cacciatore
Boneless chicken thighs braised with tomato, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, herbs, and olives.
Wine Pairing: Tenuta San Francesco Tramonti Rosso – Medium-bodied and herbal with earthy depth, complementing the tomato, olives, and rustic aromatics of the dish.
🥩 Red Wine–Braised Short Ribs with Mashed Potatoes
Slow-braised beef short ribs finished in their natural jus, served over creamy Yukon Gold mashed potatoes.
Wine Pairing: Tenuta San Francesco È Iss – Full-bodied and structured with dark fruit and spice, beautifully matched to the richness and depth of the braised short ribs.
🍊 Orange Flambé
Caramelized blood orange segments flambéed and finished in a warm citrus reduction, served with coconut yogurt and topped with pistachio and pomegranate.
