Frequently, when we focus on Italian wines you get to try varieties that you have trouble pronouncing and have maybe never heard of. In a way that’s a distinction of Italian wine but it’s not because international varieties can’t grow there. On the contrary, the varieties we see in France, California, and other wine regions throughout the world also thrive in Italy.
