Theme: The Captivating Land of Friuli
Italy is complicated. They produce more grape varieties than any country in the world. The stories behind the wine producers are as diverse and interesting as the wines. This region is in the far northeast part of Italy, at the base of the Dolomite Mountains. Tonight, you will try wine from a winery started by a 15th-century war hero, as well as wine produced by an actual “Count.” Friuli is one of the most naturally gifted places on earth for wine production.
